I have been working as a professional freelancer for 15 years.
I worked in the TV - and Film industry for a couple of years, gaining experience in fields such as marketing art illustration, creative lead, and project management, as well as 3D animation.
Since ~ 2015 I transitioned more and more towards the gaming industry and reshaped my artistic skills from a 2D illustrator to a concept artist who is also capable and confident with using 3D.
I am also coordinating the Gamescom Artist Area since 2023. It supports independent artists, showing their diverse artistic voices, and connects them with fans. In 2025 we won the heart of gaming award, since the jury recognized our outstanding contribution to the gaming community.
Teaching: Since ~ 2010 I have also been teaching the online workshop "Absolute Beginners", which was then hosted by CGMA. I was teaching "Digital Art Foundations" at CGMA until CGMA was shut down in late 2025.
